Sewerby Hall & Gardens are delighted to announce that their new and exciting fun dog event, the “Canine Carnival” is coming to their stunning location on Sunday, 24th September, 2023.
The Canine Carnival will be hosted in partnership with Jerry Green Dog Rescue, who for over 60 years have rescued, cared for and rehomed over 40,000 dogs in need of a second chance. With a community outreach programme in East Yorkshire, as well as three centres across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Jerry Green Dog Rescue continue to provide a safe place for homeless dogs and to seek new loving places for them to live.
The Canine Carnival has lots on offer and is guaranteed to get tails wagging.
The event will run from 10.30am to 3.30pm and promises to bring plenty of entertainment for the whole family, including the Bridlington Gold Radio Roadshow, Fun Dog show, demonstrations, dog agility, face painting, dog tails, competitions, and trail walks, along with a dog zone with puppacinos, pick’ n mix, scent work, ball pools and educational talks.
There will also be a chance to go doggy shopping to pick up a treat, browse the craft fair and take time out with a bite to eat and drink, not forgetting everything else Sewerby Hall and Gardens has to offer including the House, Gardens, Zoo and Bricklive Exhibition.
