GRAND NATIONAL TIPS 2021

CLOTH CAP has come into this race with 2 great wins including the Ladbokes trophy chase pocketing over £113k back in Nov last year. And then following that up this year last month in the Bet365 premier chase with a purse of over £25k. If reproducing that form then probably the one to beat. However there is runners with more experience and also could be just primed ready for this.

These include ACAPELLA BOURGEIOS from the same yard who was a winner last time out ahead of BURROWS SAINT(also for the mullins yard) both who raced last in February this year. But more value in the former with it winning that race.

MISTER MALARKEY was also in the above race finishing 3rd behind both mullins runners, and is one to watch as it would seem that the Tizzard yard had seemingly horses with better form and have stuck with this one.

TAKING RISKS(rank outsider)pocketed just over £42k when showing good recent form at end of Jan this year in the Sky bet handicap chase. Retaining Sean Quinlan for the ride could be what this one needs if ready.

A couple of outsiders to also consider LORD DU MESNIL who comes into this on the back of a win in the Grand national trial over a testing 3m 4f on soft/heavy ground back in February pocketing over £42k in the process.

Also VIEUX LION ROUGE a winner in Dec last year from the PIPE yard pocketing over £67k in the becher handicap chase. Poor run when returning in January but could easily bounce back here.
