Bridlington Town Football club are hosting a family fun day and charity football match to raise funds for the ‘Hull4Heroes’ charity on Sunday the 18th of July and Bridlington Gold Radio’s Roadshow will be there to entertain the crowds. The fun starts at 10am with the match kicking off at 1pm.
Speaking on Bridlington Gold, Paul Matson, the founder of the charity said: “The idea to set up the charity came after I worked on the D.I.Y. SOS television programme, building homes for armed forces veterans. The charity aims to help and support armed forces veterans in any way we can and we are really looking forward to the family fun day at Bridlington Town and to a team from the charity taking on a team of ex Tigers made up of former Hull City players.” Paul went on to say, “Entry to the ground is free and people can make a donation on the gate if they wish, but this is not compulsory and everyone is welcome to come along and just enjoy the day. If any local businesses would like to place an advert in the specially produced match programme or if anyone would like to bring a stall to the event then they would be more than welcome to do so.”
For more information, to book a stall, or to advertise in the match programme you can contact the charity by emailing: events@hull4heroes.org.uk
