Classically Yours welcomes the prestigious Hallé Orchestra for a Relaxed Concert at Bridlington Spa on Wednesday, 10th May at 2.30/4.30pm.
A relaxed concert offers audiences the chance to listen to popular, classical music in a relaxed and informal way. There are none of the usual rules associated with classical concerts – audience members are free to move around, talk and clap whenever they wish. There is also the chance to interact with Hallé players at the beginning and end of the concert and ask them questions.
A relaxed concert is a fantastic opportunity to welcome diverse groups of people who may not traditionally have access to these types of events. Due to the relaxed style, this means the concert is suitable for those with health conditions such as dementia or stroke survivors.
The music is a mixture of more conventional classical pieces but also arrangements of popular classics, with bite-sized pieces. This concert will feature a couple of Coronation-themed pieces.
