Burlington Jackdaws looking to help the local community

The Burlington Jackdaws are who are a local youth football group are looking for anyone who can help towards raising funds and are looking for any potential sponsors , businesses or individuals who can help them get the ball rolling with this and help children in the town that are unable to play football due to the pandemic.

They are looking to start a community fund so that any kids that can’t play ( Ie can’t afford it , free school meal kids ) can apply and they can help them.

They are currently asking for any unused footbal boots that maybe the lads have grown out of but still have some life left in them. So they can distribute amongst the kids who could benefit from them.

If anyone has any fundraising ideas or can help is asked to contact Chris Kirkham via facebook or send us a message here at the station and we can forward it on.
