Bridlington Town supporters were introduced to new Manager, Mike Thompson in the Town bar.
Thompson spoke about his plans for the club including the linkup between Burlington Jackdaws and Bridlington Rovers saying the reserve team Bridlington Town Rovers will get opportunities to train and hopefully step up to the first team. He spoke about new signings, although none could be named until July 1st, and said he had already agreed with five new players to join the club with two of them being from the league above.
One thing that the new Manager mentioned was something he required from all of his players and that is: Effort, Commitment and Desire, these are three non-negotiables for any player that would be a part of the new regime.
The new Assistant Manager is highly respected Coach, Adrian Costello, who holds the UEFA A Coaching Licence and comes to the Bridlington with extensive knowledge and experience in working with elite professional players. He has been manager for Swedish Division 2 team Ytterhogdal IK who have just received the team of the year award for their amazing first season in the league and most recently was the coach for Hull City ladies.
