This annual event, which normally takes place in October, that has attracted thousands of visitors to the town and gives a massive boost to its economy, has been cancelled, due to the current pandemic.
The Bridlington Leisure Association has issued the following statement:
“After discussing at length with the YSA we believe that under the current COVID restrictions this years scooter rally in Bridlington can not take place safely.
We feel to do so would be putting the towns businesses and peoples lives at risk.
Bridlington is our priority and we want the best for this town and this would not be worth the risk to the town and the people who live here.
In some better news we look forward to welcoming the YSA to Bridlington next year as we have secured it for October 2021
