A local Bridlington family took to social media to warn others, after their daughter was followed and harassed by an unknown, dark haired male, who was driving a white Alfa Romeo.
The incident took place on The Crayke.
The stranger followed the girl in his car, parked in front of her, then got out of the car. The frightened girl ran into the nearest house, where the people looked after her before taking her safely home.
The incident has been reported to Humberside Police and a check on the Alfa Romeo’s number plate, revealed it to be false.
The girl, whilst very shaken, is safe and well. Her family wanted to let other parents know, so they could warn their children.
