Police appeal after a dog was allegedly struck by mobility scooter

Investigations are underway following reports of a public order offence on Hilderthorpe Road, #Bridlington on Saturday 19 September.
It was reported that a man riding a mobility scooter allegedly collided with a dog before shouting at the dog’s owner.
The dog was taken to the vets for treatment and was sadly put to sleep following the incident.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the police non-emergency 101 line quoting crime reference 16/98933/20.
