LOCAL COMPANY RAISING FUNDS FOR THE YORKSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE

The staff of local estate agents D. Dunk, Lewis & Graves are busy raising funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and have already raised over £250 by taking part in ‘The Tour de Chapel Street’ a fun static bike ride held outside their office on Chapel Street. Speaking on Bridlington Gold, manager, Tara Cummings said “The event was a lot of fun although the weather put a slight dampener on it, as we all got soaked.” She went on to say, “We are holding a series of events, the next one is a sponsored walk from Flamborough Lighthouse to the Southshore Park and Ride, on Saturday the 29th of May, starting at 11am, with refreshments being kindly provided at the half way point by the Ship Inn, Sewerby.

“Anyone wishing to take part, or to sponsor those who are, can get details by contacting us at the office.”

“We are also planning another sponsored static bike ride, ‘The Tour de King Street’ in August and, hopefully, a sponsored parachute jump later in the year.”

If you would like anymore information, you can pop into the office on Chapel Street, or call: 01262 672576.
