Sad news as Bridlington Rugby Club Mourns the passing of two club members

This week they lost two of their long serving club members

On the left is Roger Eeles, he was the club President in 1971, he had also served as club Chairman. Roger was also a long standing member of the local referees society, as both a referee and later as a referee’s assessor. Roger was our oldest male club member.

On the right is John Avison, “Big John” as he was affectionately known by many of the club members, he regularly supported the first team, he also enjoyed going down to the club to proudly watch his grandchildren playing rugby.

The clubs and everyone at Bridlington Golds thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of these wonderful men, they will be sadly missed by many of the club members.
