Good news for local club “The Hangout youth club” when after pleading for more funds to keep the service going they were approached by Bridlington man Gareth John who’s children attend the club. Gareth is willing to do a sponsored bike ride from Bridlington to Scarborough Castle and back.

It’s a total of 36 miles and the Club are over the moon with his willingness to help and are asking for people to sponsor him. He will be doing the bike ride on Sunday the 15th November 2020 giving them a few weeks to get some sponsors. They would really appreciate if you could sponsor him no amount is to small.
Sponsor monies can be paid to Jo, Adele or Gareth or can be paid into the hangout PayPal which is thehangout@sky.co.uk please make payments through friends and family and a note stating gareths sponsor.

Bridlington Gold will be keeping you up to date with Gareths progress on the day of his ride.

The club has reached the point where they are having to sell off some equipment they have purchased for the local children and aswell as other overheads they have to pay for storage for this equipment.
