A local group, the ‘Proper Walkers’, are taking part in a sponsored walk to raise funds for the ‘Centre for Young People’ in Bridlington. The walk, which takes place on the 26th of June, will start from the Lime Kiln Lane car park at 7am. It work its way through Sewerby Park and onto Buckton and Speeton, before following the coastal path along the cliff top to Flamborough and then back to Bridlington, finishing at the ‘Ship Inn’, Sewerby.

Speaking on Bridlington Gold, Alistair and Stuart said: “The centre for young people is a club that is very close to our hearts, and we are hoping to raise over £500 for them. Anyone wishing to help by sponsoring us, can get in touch via Facebook, by searching ‘Proper Walkers’, or by emailing: admin@properwalkers.co.uk”
