LIVE MUSIC AND FUNDRAISING IN BRIDLINGTON

LIVE! In Bridlington launches a brand new, monthly live music event this August; showcasing the brightest emerging talent from Yorkshire and the broader North, as well as raising funds for local community projects.
The project will be hosted at the newly refurbished venue space at The Black Lion, in Old Town Bridlington. Funds raised from each event will go towards the various projects organised by local charity, The Hinge Centre.
We welcome York band BULL for the first event, on Friday 20th August; the band have been making waves across the UK, recently becoming the first band from York to sign for a major record label since Shed Seven.

They penned a deal with the mighty EMI Records, releasing their debut album “Discover Effortless Living” in March of this year.
The band’s eclectic influences include the likes of The Pixies, Yo La Tengo and Pavement.

Support comes from Bridlington stalwarts Edge of 13, recently back from a 5 year hiatus, plus Hull band The Avenues.
Tickets are available online, via theticketsellers.co.uk, on a “PAY WHAT YOU CAN” basis, with a suggested donation of £3; although gig goers are welcome to make a larger donation where they can.
