During the early hours of this morning, (14th January), Firefighters were called out to tackle a blaze at a Bridlington restaurant between Fort Terrace and Regent Terrace in Bridlington Town Centre.
The popular ‘Little Sicily’ restaurant was attended by Bridlington Firefighters at around 1.30am.
Whilst the fire was dealt with and the building was being made safe, residents in the flats above the restaurant were evacuated. It is understood that residents are now allowed back inside their flats.
