Bridlington Town AFC has organised a local food drop off for local charity

There is a food drop off taking place at Bridlington Town Football club this Saturday, they have organised it for the Hinge charity in Bridlington.

A bit about the charity – They provide food parcels to the local community of Bridlington on a regular basis, however with most recent events the demand for food parcels has increased. Whether it be due to loss of employment, reduced working hours, change in circumstances, waiting periods when applying for benefits or financial difficulty, the charity try their best to support individuals and families. The charity will be relying on donations to be able to offer food parcels, therefore the donations raised from the event on Saturday would be of great benefit and enable them to continue providing this service during these uncertain times. Since 23rd March 2020 (the beginning of Covid), they have distributed 1324 food parcels to individuals and families in the local community. This is a considerable amount compared to the food parcels distributed in the whole year of 2019 was 206.
