ARMED FORCES VETERANS BREAKFAST CLUB MEET AGAIN

Following the easing of restrictions, the Bridlington Branch of the ‘Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club’ are meeting again at Richie’s Cafe-bar, on the South Foreshore.

Speaking on Bridlington Gold, Mike Rubery, who runs the club, said: “The idea of a veterans breakfast club originated in Hull some years ago and the Bridlington branch started four years ago. The club provides both veterans and their families, as well as serving members of the armed forces, with somewhere they can get together and share memories and stories, meet new friends, have a cuppa and some breakfast, if they like, and also get involved in raising money for both local and veterans charities. They also have regular coffee mornings.”

The club meets at 10am on the first Saturday of every month at Richie’s Cafe-bar, Bridlington.

Anyone wanting anymore information about the club can contact Mike on: 07722 362949.
